September 2014
In September 2014, FemaleFranchise.co.uk highlights Lisa Suswain of 'Wagging Tails' for their Women in Franchising section.
Award-winning 'Woman in Franchising' Lisa Suswain, has just launched a new franchise recruitment video for Dog boarding franchise operation Wagging Tails.
Shot on location in Hampshire, the video features Lisa Suswain, her husband Jim, and various franchisees, describing life as part of one of the most successful franchise operations in the UK.
Wagging Tails, which offers dog lovers the opportunity to run their own pet care business, has seen considerable success since Lisa launched it as a franchise in 2010, winning numerous awards including, ‘Woman Franchisor of the Year’ and ‘Woman Franchisee of the Year’ at the 2014 NatWest EWIF Awards and now has 12 franchises trading across the country.
Following professional hair and make-up sessions, carers, franchisees and franchisors walked and talked their way through the three minute video which features slo-mo and aerial shots to produce a highly watchable and informative video.
Founder of Wagging Tails and devoted dog lover Lisa Suswain said,
"We are absolutely delighted with the video, even if we had no idea how much work it would be to make it; luckily with guidance, advice and lots of re-takes, we got there eventually!
Our brief to the company was to produce a video that was visually beautiful but also informative and engaging. Naturally we hope that having seen the film and heard from our existing franchisees about how much they enjoy running their Wagging Tails businesses, viewers will say consider picking up the phone or visiting our website to find out more."
Jim Suswain added "Video has been a popular medium for conveying a brand message for many years but this has never been truer than right now. Research tells us that a visitor to a website with a video on it will stay on average five minutes longer than on one without a video and also, that having a video on the site increases the chances of a 1st page google listing by 53 times; this alone makes it a ‘must have’ item on any website serious about holding onto its visitors."
Lisa agreed "We come from a generation of ‘watchers’, our time is precious and people often prefer to have someone ‘tell’ them the story rather than reading it for themselves so we are delighted with the video and look forward to seeing many new Wagging Tails franchisees come on board as a result."
