Before joining Ambience, the thought of being in the wedding industry never even crossed Sandie Edgar's mind!
Before becoming a wedding stylist, Sandie felt like she was over worked and underappreciated whilst working in the legal industry as a solicitor. She thought enough is enough and then took some time out to be at home with her son and support her husband Gareth’s career.
"We had looked at several franchise businesses and existing business to buy as options but wanted something that was a bit creative and in what we thought to be a 'happy' industry. Trends and products are ever evolving which really allows me to let out my creative side. So whilst there can be some repetition most events are different. Clients have their own ideas about what they want but also appreciate our input as stylists, especially if we know the venue well.
The most important lesson I have learnt with being in the wedding industry for so long is, never over promise and always deliver what you say you will. Quality, customer service and good timing are all essential."

It is not an easy, quick fix for success you still have to work very hard to get the business but it is good to know that Head Office is there in the background and that you can pick up the phone to them should you ever need them. Hana came from working in retail for over 13 years and she joined Ambience as a stylist in January 2016.
