We’d been running a Post Office for fourteen years when inevitably, alongside many others around the country, ours eventually faced closure too. Being familiar with franchising, we knew we needed an established company with a proven product, so, following extensive research and a couple of meetings with similar companies, we decided to invest in a Card Line franchise.
Initially we had a week’s one to one training where we learnt how to carry out merchandising calls and a whole range of hints, tips and skills for developing the business. Subsequently, our Franchise Director gets around everyone fairly regularly to iron out any snags and help strengthen any weak points. In any event, support is only ever a phone call away.
It’s like any other free market…it’s challenging because it’s competitive and you have to work hard to win business and keep your customers happy. You only get what you put in. You determine the number of opportunities by how hard and also, how smart you work but with a well organised, experienced and market focussed business like Card Line behind you the opportunity to reap the rewards of your labours and see your business develop through your own efforts are there to be taken.
