Helen Green hit break-even point before her launch in Sheffield in September of 2012.

Razzamataz Sheffield - Helen GreenHelen is just 23 and can boast a 35k turnover after just four weeks of business. Her drive and determination has also gained her prominent media exposure for her school.

Q. What do you think are the main reasons for your success?

Pure hard work and dedication to my business. I absolutely love what I do and want nothing more than to see my school grow and for the children attending to develop as performing artists and young people.

Q. What advice can you offer other would-be franchisees?

Make sure you have a passion for what you do because that will fuel you and help you drive your business forward. I often work long days and late nights but seeing my student numbers grow is very rewarding and Saturday classes make it all worthwhile.

Q. What has been the biggest lesson you have learnt?

To make sure I always stay motivated. Workshops, getting out and about, meeting people etc. I enjoy the admin work and I don’t mind being sat behind a desk but it’s nice to get out of the office and spread the word about Razzamataz!

Q. How should new franchisees approach launch day?

I did everything in the launch planner provided by Head Office and made sure that I was fully prepared so that the day ran really smoothly.

Q. What are your plans for the future?

To continue to grow my school and ensure we always provide excellent tuition and experiences for our students.

What Our Franchisees Say

I don’t have a business background so after deciding to retire from professionally performing it was the memories of Razzamataz on Dragons’ Den that set the wheels in motion. I was really inspired by the brand and the business model and because it is a franchise business we receive a lot of help and support from Head Office as well as on-going training so I can make Razzamataz Barnet the success that I believe it can be. In the last 12 months, I have doubled my student numbers in a very competitive market and I have now clear plans on how I would like my business to progress this year,

Michael French, Razzamataz Barnet
