It was great to catch up with Byron and it was very interesting to find out exactly why he took the plunge into becoming a Revive! franchisee and what sparked his desire for a work and lifestyle change.
As a monorail engineer 7 years ago, Byron decided that it was time for a lifestyle change.
I came from an engineering background installing monorails. I was working abroad a lot and my long term girlfriend started talking about our future and having children. So I decided to have a look at my options.
I was away in Paris when a colleague brought over an English paper with information about Franchising and the NEC Franchise show. I went along to the show and collected lots of information. I also spoke to lots of franchisors. There were a few different franchises that stood out to me, Revive! was one of them.
Revive! jumped out at me. The business model was strong, it offered support, training and good returns. I am also into cars. Revive! stood out above the rest of the franchises I looked at as they were more honest. There was no hard sell and they offered the best training.
In his first year as a Revive! rookie and from one van, Byron achieved over £50,000 and has never looked back, growing his business significantly each year.
Now with 4 employees, 4 paint vans and an alloy wheel van on its way, Byron’s fleet provide fast, reliable and expert vehicle repairs, something which Revive! are widely recognised for in the trade and retail markets. Byron and his team have become very reputable in their local territory and once Byron feels the time is right, he will consider territory expansion.
