The Jigsaw Franchise is a Performing Arts Business which is extremely rewarding. Not only do you have tremendous fun but you help children to achieve their individual goals and succeed by way of dance, drama and singing.
The Jigsaw Franchise provides weekend performing arts schools for children offering classes in drama, singing and dance. This Performing Arts Business provides training to children from the age of three years to eighteen years. All children will achieve all three disciplines in order to become a well rounded performer.
The younger students, aged three to six will have sessions divided into three sections. The session will last for ninety minutes which provides a wonderful introduction to performing arts.
The older students aged between seven and eighteen attend a three-hour session with an hour of each, dance, singing and drama.
The Jigsaw Franchise classes develop the children's focus, social skills and confidence whilst having fun. The coaches themselves have worked professionally in theatre and run each session.
Friends and family are invited by students twice a year to see them putting their skills into practice by way of a show or performance.
This Performing Arts Business can also provide holiday workshops and birthday parties. However the weekend school is the main drive of the business.
Nicola Lander, Company Director, attended a weekend performing arts school in Bristol (her home town) as a child. This was her inspiration. Nicola graduated from Mountview Theatre School, for several years she acted professionally in theatre and television. Jigsaw Arts was then set up by Nicola in 1995.
Nicola's belief in the benefits of performing arts in education has been proven time and time again. The Performing Arts arena gives children the confidence and social skills to achieve their full potential in what is now a very competitive world. Nicola now fully understands the benefits of this first hand by having two children of her own.
