Franchisees are given the highest level of training and business development support, including a two week residential course and home-based on-line tutorials, all carried out by experienced travel professionals.
They have access to award-winning technology and are trained to use the company’s tailor made booking system, which allows them to quickly and efficiently tailor make trips for their clients. They have their own personalised web pages, training and access to the Travel Counsellors online community via a sophisticated intranet system. Plus all newly appointed Travel Counsellor Associates receive a laptop and a full suite of marketing tools.
The company has now seen the graduation of a number of its Travel Counsellor Associates from The Travel Academy. These franchisees have successfully completed the dedicated 12 month training programme, running their own travel businesses from home, enjoying job satisfaction, flexible hours and more money, whilst being well-respected within the industry and doing a job they love.
The Travel Academy has been recognised by the British Franchise Association. Travel Counsellors ask Associates to invest a minimum fee of £10,000 to own their own franchise. This covers all training and set-up costs and the right to use the Travel Counsellors trademark and brand. The programme has also been awarded accreditation from the Institute of Travel & Tourism for its high standard of training and use of state of the art technology.
