Training and Support
A 9-week intensive training programme which consists of both theory and practical at ReactFast’s own state of the art in-house Training Centre, will see that you acquire all of the necessary skills and experience for dealing with any situation that you are likely to face.
Uniquely the ReactFast training course has been designed with our vast experience of maintenance in mind and as such the focus is very much on real life scenarios as opposed to mainly theory based classroom training offered by some of our competitors.
On completion of the course, not only will you be fully prepared practically, you will also have acquired the following qualifications:
- City & Guilds qualifications 6022 and 6032
- Water Supply and Water Fittings Regulations 1999
- Part P Defined Scope - electrical skills
Business Training
In order to take full advantage of the opportunities a ReactFast franchise offers, it is not enough to simply train as a plumber and be equipped with a van, tools and stock - you also require further training to prepare you for running and growing your new business in every way, this includes:

- Sales techniques
- Customer services
- Book keeping
- Marketing
- Heath & Safety
ReactFast value this part of the training just as much as the practical plumbing and a whole week is devoted to these areas.
Financial Information
Initial Franchise fee: £17,250 plus VAT
Total payable to ReactFast as a franchise fee: £34,500 + VAT
This includes your initial fee, training, commercial jetting machine and CCTV camera, sales and marketing pack, work wear, IT package including Laptop, Printer and digital camera, PDA , tools, starter pack of stock, job sheets and other administration material.
Total financial requirement, including borrowings: £48,575.54
This includes VAT on the franchise fee of £6038 and the Van of £2414 which will both be claimed back on your first VAT return, as well as £4750 working capital and around a further £900 for items to be purchased by the franchisee themselves such as insurance and road fund license.
Raising the money
ReactFast has negotiated special bank-loan packages with the major banks, enabling prospective franchisees to obtain a 5-year bank loan to fund their franchise on favourable terms. If the bank loans you the full 70% of the total cost, your cash stake (the money you need to come up with) will be approximately £14,500.
