Pyjama Drama is a fun, creative program combining drama, music, movement and play for children between the ages of two and seven years.

Pyjama Drama is delivered in ‘public sessions’, in private day nurseries, playgroups, infant schools, and at children’s parties.

Developed over a period of four years, Pyjama Drama has been enjoyed by thousands of children and has a proven record of success. You do not have to be a trained teacher, nor do you have to have any previous experience of running a business to run a successful drama franchise. The program is straightforward, simple and easy to follow and franchisees receive full training, and ongoing support and advice.

Pyjama Drama Franchise Day-To-Day Duties

As a Pyjama Drama franchisee you will be responsible for all aspects of running your business including:

• Set up and run regular Pyjama Drama classes
• Develop business relationships and generating new business for your territory
• Manage the day to day running of your business
• Promote Pyjama Drama Merchandise

What we look for in a franchisee

Just as every child is different, every Pyjama Drama franchisee will also be different. However, there are certain things that we would look for in all of our franchisees:

• A genuine love of working with young children
• Experience of playing with preschool children (even if this is with your own child)
• Drama skills
• Honesty and integrity
• The confidence to lead a group of children (and their parents!) in drama and creative play
• A good level of fitness
• Organisational skills
• Ambition, drive and a determination to succeed

Financial Information

Franchise fees begin at just £5,850 for which a territory large enough to earn an excellent income is allocated for a 5 year term.

Delivering just 9 classes per week could generate an income of £19,740 over a year (before room hire costs). This figure is based on charging £5.00 per child and with full classes. There are also opportunities to raise additional income through promoting merchandise, and hosting Pyjama Drama birthday parties. Many of our franchisees wish to exceed targets and can expect to grow a business over a number of years and for gross profit to exceed £40,000 per annum.
