Gary Maskell, Director of Franchisee Support and Training ended the 1st quarter of the 2010 trading year in ebullient form as franchisees reported significant improvements in marketing activities and sales results over the same period in 2009.

"Since the January snows cleared, all our Key Performance Indicators have shown a steady, sustained increase” commented Gary as aggregate 1st quarter figures were consolidated.

Icon‟s sophisticated marketing systems are generating more enquiries from business owners, more attendees at Icon seminars and workshops and more sales meetings than ever before.

“Whisper it softly” said Gary “but the economic downturn is not only over, but it has left Icon advisors well placed to make hay in the subsequent recovery. We regularly „talk‟ to tens of thousands of business owners registered on our databases via regular monthly business tips newsletters and the response rates from this activity is exploding.”

Icon has a team of marketers whose job is to follow up on web based leads, contacts made from franchisee networking activities as well as responses to regular e-mailshots which, says Gary Page 2 of 3 “...has seen March produce the best level of enquiries and sales ever...and April is showing early promise as franchisees up and down the country run seminar and workshop events for business owners.”

ICON is looking to recruit franchisees in all areas of the UK and Ireland and a number of existing franchisees are looking to recruit advisors into their practices to cope with growing customer demand.
