Auditel, the UK’s leading cost and purchase management franchise were proud to present Gill Gibbon the Auditel Franchisee of the Year Award 2008. Gill was presented with her award at the Auditel annual National Conference, which was held at Whittlebury Hall near Silverstone. Gill is a very worthy and popular winner of this award, which is presented every year during Auditel’s black-tie gala dinner to the consultant who best exemplifies Auditel’s values.
Since joining the Network in 2002, Gill has worked very hard to build a successful cost management consultancy practice, which provides an excellent model for new and established consultants alike. But much more than this, she is renowned in the Auditel network for her boundless energy and enthusiasm, her commitment and her generosity of time, knowledge and spirit. Despite a heavy workload, and the demands of a family, Gill always finds time to provide support, advice and mentoring to her colleagues and to help the head office team in their constant drive to develop the Auditel business system. Congratulations Gill from everybody in Auditel for this well-deserved accolade!
Other Awards presented during the evening went to Mike Andrews for the Tim Rix Memorial Award, Neil Calcutt for Specialisation, Maggie Cross, Peter Mayhew, David Willett and Peter Lawrence for Outstanding Contribution, Adrian Burton for Newcomer of the Year, Steve Ray for Unsung Hero, Gordon Brearley for Rising Star and Jonathan Moffitt for ‘Thinking Out of the Box’.

The black-tie gala dinner itself rounded off a day of presentations and Q&A sessions designed to educate franchisees about developments in Auditel’s core markets of energy, communications and business consumables as well as new opportunities for 2009. All in all, this year’s conference was a really successful and fun event for consultants, invited guests and the head office team alike and provided a fitting grand finale event to a very busy and successful year.
