Kylie choreographer heads up Razzamataz workshops

"It is a real privilege to have Tim and we are all looking forward to seeing the very latest ideas and trends in the field of musical theatre and commercial dance." - Denise Hutton-Gosney

Tim Noble, choreographer to Kylie Minogue, is set to inspire a whole new generation of performers with his exciting workshops at Razzamataz Theatre Schools.

Noble is a seasoned star of the West End as well as being part of the Kylie Minogue team, including being her main dancer and also choreographing a number of her videos and live international shows, for five years. Other projects he has worked on include Disney’s High School Musical spectacular and the UK National Sister Act Tour. As well as Kylie, Noble has worked with performers such as Pharrell Williams, Jamelia and Sophie-Ellis Bextor.

As well as continuing to choreograph for international stars, Noble has set his sights on motivating young talent in the UK. “We come in and give them the wow factor and give them the boost to really motivate them,” he says.

The Tim Noble workshops are just part of the plans to make Razzamataz the most inspirational part-time theatre schools in the UK. “Razzamataz is incredibly proud to bring top professionals in their field to work with our students,” said Director of Razzamataz Denise Hutton-Gosney. “It is a real privilege to have Tim and we are all looking forward to seeing the very latest ideas and trends in the field of musical theatre and commercial dance.”

The one-day workshop will take students through various styles of dance including musical theatre and commercial dance to reflect the curriculum of Razzamataz. With his wealth of performing and choreographic experience, Tim will offer the children a rare insight into the life of a professional dancer. At the end of the workshop all children will take part in a presentation for their family and each child will receive a certificate.

“This is a fantastic and special opportunity to work with someone of Tim’s talent and industry experience,” added Hutton-Gosney. “As well as working with Kylie, Tim has choreographed for some major TV shows and appeared in sell-out West End productions; it will be fascinating to share his experiences of working in such a tough industry. I’m sure he will inspire and really energize our pupils to strive for whatever it is they want to achieve in life.”

Razzamataz Theatre Schools strives to have a positive effect on every aspect of a child’s life. The schools aim to increase physical fitness levels as well as boost positive mental attitudes, confidence and self-esteem.

Currently the Tim Noble workshops will take place in Carlisle on July 10th, Bath on September 5th in the morning and Bristol North on September 5th in the afternoon The workshops are extremely popular and places are limited.

As one of the fastest growing theatre schools in the UK, Razzamataz is dedicated to working on making performance training accessible to young people all over the country. The school gained national prominence when Director Denise Hutton-Gosney, appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2007 and multi-millionaire businessman Duncan Bannatyne invested in the schools.

As well as the Tim Noble workshops, Razzamataz pupils will be widening their performance skills with a special one-off show at Her Majesty’s, the West End theatre of the phenomenally successful musical, Phantom of the Opera where Razzamataz students will perform in a special tribute show to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of Razzamataz.
