Jackie wanted to ensure she had time with her pre-school children but wanted to steadily build a rewarding business that could grow further when they started school.

"What the Creation Station offered seemed almost too good to be true! A chance to turn an activity that I loved into my own business that I could fit around my two children, and expand as they grow older. The reality is proving as good as the promise though! I love every minute of the sessions and parties, especially seeing the children's excitement when they try a new activity or create something amazing. It's great to see parents enjoying themselves so much too, and encouraging their children to experiment and discover things for themselves.

The support from Head Office and the network of franchisees has been great, and the franchisee forum is worth its weight in gold, not only for providing answers to (sometimes random!) questions, but also for the sense of community it encourages between geographically remote colleagues. The training was really valuable, particularly in the areas which were completely new to me such as marketing, and it was great to be able to practise running real sessions and get feedback from the experts!

I'm delighted with how quickly my business has taken off, with full classes and lots of parties in the next few months. I can't wait to develop it more each year as my children grow up and start school, though they love being part of it at the moment. it really is the perfect work-life balance franchise Perhaps my biggest compliment has come from my 4-year old daughter, who watched me setting off for a Creation Station party and called down the road "Mummy, your classes are REALLY GREAT!"
