Lucy wanted to give something back to her community and found the values of The Creation Station could help her achieve a fulfilling and rewarding business opportunity.
Lucy Jane Titterton passionately believes that strong relationships are crucial to a child’s development. As a new Creation Station franchisee she is now able to pursue her ambition to support families as they build those vital bonds.
“After completing an NVQ in Business studies aged 19 I worked in admin, sales and then a variety of management roles but really wanted to work in the field of child development,” admits Lucy Jane. “I took the first step towards this by gaining a Degree in Education Studies. My aim was to run parenting sessions and I began to write my own programme that would build up the closeness between a parent and child.”
Then Lucy Jane discovered the Creation Station – an award winning and successful educationally based programme where families enjoy art and craft creativity in a fun and relaxed setting. “My life changed overnight! Here was a ready-made package that could fast-track me to building my own business, doing something I truly believed in. It was an opportunity to invest in myself.”
After attending a Creation Station Discovery Morning, where potential franchisees see children and their parents/carers participating in the programme, Lucy Jane was convinced this was the perfect business for her: “I could see the potential immediately it mirrored my own thinking and aspirations.”
“My classes are growing and I am involved with many partnerships in my area. I’m l very excited and my head is spinning with ideas. I have big plans for my business and I’m delighted that at last I have the chance to fulfil my ambitions and support families in my area.”
