“Because of the nature of the cleaning service, which is difficult for company’s to take in-house satisfactorily, it is a recession-proof business. Our last quarter has been really busy and we have now hit the one million pound mark. We are proactive in winning additional specialist work which generate a lot of income, but 50 per cent of our business is still with our main national contract customers provided by Jani-King.
“As the business has grown we have needed to put a more managerial structure in place, allowing us to take more of a back seat. This has the bonus of making the business more of a saleable asset should we choose to capitalise on it in the future.”
